Lisa Gallant Seal is a New England based singer-songwriter and music missionary ... a musicianary. Working as a solo artist, or together with her concert band and as a corporate worship leader, Lisa reaches out to surrounding communities through participating churches with music that reveals the experience, strength and the hope of walking with Jesus Christ in the world today.

With Gallant Seal’s deep, raspy voice, confessional lyric and rhythmic acoustic guitar style, she is often compared to recording artist's Melissa Etheridge, Bonnie Raitt and worship leader, Rita Springer. Lisa plays with a sincere and passionate edge, igniting an unlimited amount of energy in all of her performances.This dynamic artist appeals to an age demographic ranging from mid-twenties to folks well into their sixties.

History

Lisa Gallant Seal (born in Portland, Maine) is a pop-based,
folk-rock artist and music missionary (musicianary).
Gallant Seal first picked up the guitar at the age of eleven and
began writing her own songs as an outlet which helped her deal
with a troubled childhood. Not taking her music seriously until
after getting clean and sober in 1988, Lisa formed a locally
successful mainstream band called
The Brotherhood Dogs (1994-2002).


After finding Christ in the mid nineties the artist gradually
found her place in the Christian Contemporary Music arena.


Lisa carries a refreshingly new sound and image to CCM.
This performer leaves her audience wanting more of what
she brings to the stage; a passionate and transparent heart
combined with an un-bridled rock style energy. Along with
appearances on larger concert stages, festivals and typical
full band events, you will also find her continuing to relate and
reach out to surrounding community audiences in smaller and
more intimate venues as a solo artist and with her full band.


With her most recent EP release “Changing Direction” (2012),
Lisa is moving ahead and gaining recognition while sharing the
stage with notable performers including The Wrecking, Brian Gentry,
Margaret Becker, Rita Springer and others.
