It is written that there will be MANY that will claim "I am Christian" yet Jesus says He will not know them. As I grow closer to the Lord through learning to understand His precious Word, I am now much more aware and quick to identify the lies of the enemy. Satan is the father of lies who comes as an angel of light & plays such evil games with the "wordless warriors" of this day. That the majority of Christians today are Bible illiterate makes his job much easier. With this, I feel it necessary to state my Christian beliefs below and continue to pray for myself and for you to be constantly seeking a deeper relationship with our Lord on a daily basis. Love, L
All Scripture is, inspired by God, as it says in 2 Timothy 3:15-17 “and it is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
A Triune God. God is a unity of three distinct, divine persons, all One, equal in power and in glory, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, He is a Spirit, infinite, eternal, and unchangeable. He is fully omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent, not given to learning or "openness."
The Son, Jesus, came in the flesh, lived a perfect life among us, was crucified, dead, and buried, rose on the third day, ascended to heaven, and will come again in glory and judgment. He is the only Mediator between God and man.
The Holy Spirit is of one substance with the Father and the Son. He eternally proceeds from the Father and the Son, and He dwells in the hearts of believers, operating in their sanctification synergistically.
Salvation is not earned. Salvation is all about God’s grace through the believer’s faith.
